In the aftermath of the Devastation, the world has remained in an unnatural state, with only one side receiving sunlight for two millennia, the other shrouded in a frigid night incompatible with life. The descendants of the Bundos and humans who survived the disaster now inhabit the only continents bathed in sunlight, amidst intense wars and tensions.

When the planet suddenly regains its normal balance, the conflicts between the two civilizations are exacerbated by theories about the meaning of the return of the nights.

Fourteen years later, as humans adapt to the new reality and cope with constant Bundo terrorist attacks, Alenai, the heir to the throne of Lénamar, receives a divine vision. El’dal, a god he did not believe in, urges him to venture beyond the World Scar, the point beyond which the land lay frozen and barren until just a few years prior. Their mission: to reconquer Mirtaris, the city that was the cradle of the most powerful human empire and thus restore humanity’s lost glory.
